Terms of service

Clear terms for useful preparation.

Effective 3 August 2026

Agreement

By accessing or using Briefly, you agree to these Terms. If you use Briefly for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

The service

Briefly reads connected calendar events, generates AI-assisted meeting preparation and may schedule transactional email delivery. Features may change during the pilot. Briefs are preparation aids and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account information and protect access to your account.
  • Connect only calendars you are authorized to use.
  • Comply with applicable laws and respect attendee privacy.
  • Review generated briefs before relying on them for important decisions.
  • Do not misuse the service, probe security controls, send spam or interfere with other users.

Third-party services

Briefly depends on third-party services including Google Calendar, AI providers, hosting and email delivery. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. Availability of those services can affect Briefly.

Acceptable use

You may not use Briefly to violate law, infringe rights, process data without authorization, distribute malicious content, bypass access restrictions or generate deceptive, abusive or unsolicited communications.

Intellectual property

Briefly and its software, branding and service design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain rights in information you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that information solely to operate the service.

Disclaimers

The pilot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. Briefly does not provide legal, medical, financial or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Briefly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or decisions made using generated content. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Briefly during the three months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Briefly at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when needed to protect the service, comply with law, address misuse or discontinue the pilot.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
